CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck is an acute care medical center offering a full line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, and a fitness and human performance center.

Since our founding in 1885, CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck has been dedicated to serving the residents of central and western North Dakota, northern South Dakota and eastern Montana.

We are a Roman Catholic organization whose sponsors are the Sisters of St. Benedict of the Annunciation Monastery, Bismarck, ND and as an organization we follow the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services as promulgated by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Our Urgent Care Clinics provide fast and convenient treatment for unexpected injuries and illnesses. No appointment is necessary and walk-ins are always welcome.
Urgent Care offers a convenient and affordable option for all patients.

You have walk-in, after-hours, and weekend access. You'll see a health care professional when it is most convenient for you.
Lower cost option for patients compared to ER.
Accept all patients, from those using private insurance to those leveraging Medicare and Medicaid.

The Supportive Care Clinic at CHI St. Alexius Health provides palliative medicine which is a type of specialized medical care for people with serious illnesses. It focuses on providing symptom management, relief of pain and the stress of a serious illness no matter what the diagnosis.

It is appropriate for patients of all ages and at any stage in a serious illness and can be provided alongside all other appropriate curative treatments.

Palliative care is provided by a team of physicians, nurses, social workers and chaplains who work with a patient’s other physicians to provide an extra layer of support. Additional team members may include pharmacists and other complementary care professionals.

The team wishes to remind you that even when we are seeing you in the Supportive Care Clinic, you should continue to see your primary care provider as well as any specialists.
