Restoration of Normal Function is made possible through a variety of medical services. Your physician can recommend which service would best meet your restoration needs.
Physical Therapy
HPC offers you a wide range of general and specialized physical therapy related services including:

- Pain Management
- Post -Surgical Therapy

- Vertigo / Vestibular Conditions
BCBS of ND allows for self-referral in most cases but other insurance companies require a referral from your physician.
Myofascial Therapy
This therapeutic approach focuses on the inflammatory responses that create myofascial restrictions. These restrictions can produce tensile pressures on sensitive structures throughout the body. A specialized therapeutic approach eliminates the restrictions and pressure felt by the patient. Myofascial therapy is generally covered by most health insurance companies, but check your plan to determine co-pays or other requirements.
Pain Management
CHI St. Alexius Health Pain Clinic offers proven therapies ranging from conventional treatments to new innovations, all to most effectively control your pain. Our dedicated and caring providers specialize in managing chronic pain, restoring function and improving your quality of life. In many situations pain management can be improved in conjunction with physical therapy. Call the Pain Clinic at (701) 530-8106.
Biomechanical Assessment
One of the best ways to improve a skill whether it be hitting a softball, running, or a golf swing is to have that skill analyzed by an expert utilizing video. By using video analysis and having an understanding of how the movement pattern is to take place the HPC staff is able to assess the movement pattern and make recommendations for improved function and possible injury prevention.
The analysis takes about an hour and a half. Some individuals have come in for an analysis while they are recovering from an injury. If you are still recovering from an injury your normal movement may be altered. It is best to have this analysis performed when you are fully recovered so that we have an accurate understanding of your normal movement.
